Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Practices

ICT (Information and Communication Technology) practices refer to the various methods, strategies, and applications that involve the use of technology to handle, store, transmit, and manage information and communication processes. RCMAS Website and Software Committees play a pivotal role in practicing ICT efficiently.

The Website Committee is a vital group responsible for maintaining and updating the College’s online presence. Comprising web developers, designers, and content creators, the Committee ensures that the College website remains visually appealing, user-friendly, and up-to-date with accurate information. They work collaboratively to implement innovative features, optimize site navigation, and address technical issues, providing students, faculty, and visitors with an engaging and informative digital experience.

‘Unleashing Digital Innovation’

The Software Committee understands the software requirements and develops custom solutions that enhance academic productivity and administrative efficiency. The Committee holds key responsibilities in overseeing the development, maintenance, system administration, user support, security, and compliance of the College software applications, such as MCampus and Examination Software. MCampus is an official platform for the faculty and staff to document academic operations, including attendance, course plan, mark entry, timetable, etc. The students can login with their credentials to view their profile, attendance, and marks. Examination Software is a digital tool designed for the faculty to allocate themselves with the invigilation of university examinations. The Software Committee ensures that all the applications are up-to-date, secure, and capable of handling specific needs. The Committee troubleshoots problems, offers technical guidance, and ensures timely solutions to software-related difficulties. It also organises training sessions and workshops to educate users about newly developed software tools, empowering them to make the most of the available resources.
