The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to rank higher educational institutions in India. Participation in the NIRF ranking involves colleges and universities submitting extensive data regarding their performance across various parameters. These parameters include:

• Teaching, Learning & Resources (TLR): Quality of teaching, learning resources, faculty qualifications, and infrastructure.
• Research and Professional Practice (RP): Research outputs, publications, patents, and professional practices.
• Graduation Outcomes (GO): Graduation rates, placements, higher studies, and entrepreneurship.
• Outreach and Inclusivity (OI): Representation of women, economically and socially challenged students, and regional diversity.
• Perception (PR): Peer perception and public perception.
